Maintenance of electrical installations

The maintenance of an installation increases the installation’s reliability and availability.

Also electrical installations are subject to natural wear. If the wear reserve is exhausted the installation fails.

The maintenance or preventive repair is already demanded in the Energy Industry Act. In §49 article 1 energy systems are as such to be installed and operated…

Under operation the maintenance and repair is also to be included. This demand of the Energy Industry Act is also found in regulations as e.g. the Health & Safety at Work Act.

The following services are provided by Prüftech amongst other things:

• Maintenance of low-voltage switchgears,
• Compensation installations and
• Lightning protective systems.
